Create Individual Logins for Group Members

To enable individual logins for your members that will allow everyone in your group to use My SSF personalization features and The Chicago Manual of Style/Scientific Style and Format Online Forum, follow the steps below. Enabling individual logins will not prevent the shared login from working.

1. Go to Scientific Style and Format Online home page.

2. Log in to Account Administration on the upper right-hand corner of the home page with your Account Administrator user name and password.

3. Click on the button on the left side of the page that says "Create or Update Group Member Information." Click Select and then add your members' e-mail addresses. Be sure to click Submit after you have added your members' information.

Each member address you enter will automatically be sent an e-mail message with a link to a page where members can create their own user names and passwords to access Scientific Style and Format Online, including all the new features. When group members activate their unique logins, the status boxes next to their names will be checked as active.
